From natural pest treatments to novelty beds. One of the aims of Barx is to source products from local providers, Welsh providers and the UK. A large proportion of dog equipment sold in pet shops is made in the Far East. By buying locally, wherever possible, the business will help to sustain the local economy and reduce the Town's carbon footprint.
Traditionally crafted items will also be available, including quality leather collars, handmade rope leads and Barx walking sticks, for those rambles in the Clwydian Hills.
The three 'R's are very important to Barx. That is recycling, reusing and reducing. Some of the handmade products are produced from recycled material, e.g. the Barx water toy, made from neoprene remnants.
